The Simple Truth

II Cor. 11:3

We are living in an age of vastly growing information and knowledge. The world is growing more and more complex. It seems that even religion is growing more and more complicated. It’s no wonder that the average person is very confused about which religion is the right religion. But the Bible contains good news that is not complicated … it is the simple truth.

There is simplicity in Christ.

A. It was designed to be taken to ________ person.

B. It was shared successfully with the _______ people in Jesus’ day.

C. It was carried everywhere by _______ people.

D. God will condemn those that ________ not.

E. He promised that those who seek Him will _______ Him.

F. It did not take great amounts of _________ for people to respond.

People can be led astray from this simplicity.

G. Some feel they are above and beyond the simple truth … they think they _______ ________.

H. Some feel the truth must be changed to make it more ________ to the world.

I. Some don’t ________ any better.

J. Some don’t want to ________ it.

The gospel of Christ is simple enough for ordinary people to understand and obey. We need to know it well ourselves so that we can share it with others with clarity and confidence. If you have never obeyed the simple gospel of Christ, then do it today!
