Happy Father’s Day!

We praise God for a tremendous Sr. Week at CCYC – 62 campers, 4 baptisms, 19 rededications!! We had 8 campers from Coal Run. Today begins Jr. I Week (ages 9-10). The bus will leave at 2 p.m.

Softball games Thursday – 8 & 9 p.m.

We will have a church picnic today at 5 p.m. with our evening service at 6 p.m. at the shelter. Come and bring lots of good food!

Roger & Candi Durbin of Sonlight Christian Academy in Haiti will be here Wednesday, June 30^th to present their work.

God has placed the responsibility for dealing with the challenges that come against the family into the hands of fathers. Yet many in our society today have abandoned their God-given role … and we are paying a high price in moral decline. Homosexuality abounds, prisons are full, people are unhappy, and children are neglected. The Bible calls us back to the "old paths" of fatherhood and imitation of God’s example.

Are you a child of God? Is He your Father? Have you been adopted into His family? You can be today! (Galatians 3:26-27)
