The Grundy Crusade for Christ begins tonight and concludes Wednesday night. The speakers are Kerry Allen (adults) and Shane Lockard (youth). The Goins Brothers 2nd Edition will be singing each evening. Services begin at 7 p.m. with a pre-concert at 6:45 each evening.

Volunteers are needed tonight to bag up HOPE food and Tues. at 8:30 a.m. to distribute it.

Congratulations to Tim and Jessica May on the birth of their son, Kolby Jay-Ethan, on July 13th. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and is in perfect health.

Attention Sunday and Wednesday night teachers: Let Jerry know when you need material for your classes (in writing please).

How God Deals With Sinners

John 8:1-11

Jesus came to earth to set us free from our sins. However, defeating sin was not His only purpose. He also revealed to us the very nature of our true and loving God. From today’s text, let’s learn more about our God.

God is concerned about sinners.

A. To her accusers, this woman was just a thing to further their agenda.

B. People are more than "things" or "animals."

God doesn’t have a double standard.

C. Where was the man caught in adultery?

D. What did Jesus write on the ground?

God is still concerned about sinners who are deep in sin.

E. What are the "big" sins?

F. All sin is serious.

God doesn’t gloss over sin.

G. Sin is sin --- it must be repented of!

H. Jude 22-23

God offers another chance to those who repent.

I. What became of this woman?

J. Can you start all over again?

Today, sinners can still become saints! The unholy can receive His holiness and His Holy Spirit! (Acts 2:38)
