What Then Shall We Say To These
Things?
Rom. 8:31-32
When Jesus died on the cross, nothing was done to make it
easy. It was painful, humiliating, and brutal. Yet, God delivered Him up for
us all. But that is not all that God has done for us. Today, let’s consider
some of what Paul records for us in Romans 8 that demands a response from
every one of us.
I. No condemnation (8:1)
II. Dying and living (8:6)
III. Led by the Spirit (8:14)
IV. The witness of the Spirit (8:16)
V. The resurrected body (8:22-23)
VI. Saved by hope (8:24)
VII. Help in prayer (8:26-27)
VIII. All things work together for good (8:28)
IX. Predestination (8:29-30)
In conclusion, Paul asks another question: "Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ?" He mentions several things and states
that "nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord." So what do you now say to these things? What
is your response?
