The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
John 10:1-16; 24-28
God has compared human beings with sheep many times in His Word. Sheep
need guidance and protection, and so do we. Our Good Shepherd is Jesus
Christ. He is truly concerned for His flock and we can trust Him!
I. He is the door to the sheepfold.
A. Only one door
B. He commands faith, repentance, confession, baptism and
faithfulness.
C. Others are thieves and robbers. What have they stolen?
1. Baptism
2. Lord’s Supper
3. Money
4. Name of Christ
II. Who are His sheep and what do they do?
D. "Anyone"
E. The door must be entered.
F. Follow Him!
G. "One flock"
III. Those who believe, receive wonderful privileges.
H. Salvation
I. Liberty
J. Nourishment
Let us enter through Him into the flock of God. The door is open to all
--- "Whosoever will may come."
