The Elderberries will meet for breakfast at McDonalds
Tuesday at 9 a.m., with a business meeting to follow at the church. Anyone
interested in either the trip to Amish Country in Ohio or to Pigeon Forge is
encouraged to be present.
Next Sunday morning Bro. George Roberts from Florida will
be our guest speaker. The waterslide will open at 3 p.m., followed by a
picnic at 5 p.m. Please bring lots of food and drinks! Come early and pitch
horseshoes, play volleyball, or basketball. Evening service will be at 6
p.m. and will involve your personal testimonies and praises to God!
There will be a brief meeting of all teachers of our
young people immediately after our morning service in the front of the
auditorium.
Volunteers will be needed to load HOPE food this Saturday
at 6 p.m. at the Warehouse, and unload at 7 p.m. here.
Our elders and building committee voted unanimously
Wednesday night to hire Goodman Architectural Services to prepare our
detailed construction documents for a fee of $54,100. We hope to have these
plans ready for contractors’ bids by mid-January. Our total offering August
29th will go to the building fund, which now is at $310,000. Our
goal is to reach $500,000 by the end of this year. Pray and give that we
might reach this goal!
