We welcome George & Annabelle Roberts
to Coal Run today. George has preached God’s word for over 50 years and
presently serves in Dunnellon, FL.
Today is "Back to School" Sunday. We encourage everyone to pray
for our teachers, administrators, and students as they begin another school
year.
We rejoice in Angela Collins’ decision to obey the Lord in baptism
last Sunday night!
The Elderberries will be going to Natural Bridge this Thursday,
leaving at 9:30 a.m.
There will be a Prayer Breakfast this Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
Everyone is encouraged to bring breakfast food to the Youth Center and pray
for special needs.
HOPE Day is Tuesday – 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Volunteers are needed. No one
will be able to take USDA commodities without filling out all of the proper
paperwork, and they must be a Pike County resident within financial
guidelines. In the future, every commodity bag MUST be signed for.
The Youth Choir will resume practice next Sunday evening
immediately after the evening service. All young people in grades 7 and up
are encouraged to be here!
The entire offering on Aug. 29 will go to the Building Fund. Our
goal is to have $500,000 by the end of this year! We would like to start the
new building next summer.
