Seven Reasons for Going to Church

Hebrews 10:22-26

In our modern age of conveniences, many people have become lazy. Instead of using their extra time to help others, many just lay around and watch television. This trend has led to bad health, both physically and spiritually. Too many have even forsaken the assemblies of the church. Today we want to consider seven reasons for attending church.

I.  Church services are a family reunion.

II.  The church is a classroom.

III.  The church is a refuge.

E. We need to rest in God’s arms.
F. The church is a refuge for the soul.

IV.  When we attend church we set a good example.

V.  The church service is a memorial service.

I. The Lord’s Supper is the "main event" at our   
    Sunday assemblies.

VI.  The church assembly is a victory celebration.

VII.  The church assembly is time spent with God!
