God Bless America

Psalm 33:12

In the past 2 ½ years we have seen many signs with the words “God Bless America.”  This has been good for our nation, so let’s consider these words a little deeper.

I.                     GOD

A.     The Creator

B.     The Son – Jn. 1:1-4, 14,18; 8:56-58; 14:6

II.                   BLESS

A.     How can God “bless” a nation that excludes Him?

B.     Prov. 14:34; Hosea 4:1-3, 6-7; II Chron. 7:14

III.                  AMERICA

A.     What makes America so special?

1.      Our founding fathers

2.      We have drifted far away.

B.     We reap what we sow.

If we really want God to bless America, we must respect His ways!  If you are not a Christian, His way for you is to confess your faith in Christ, repent of your sins, and be baptized into Christ.  Then begin living the “blessed” Christian life!
