Three Magnificent Moms Romans 13:7 We are to honor those who are worthy of honor, and that certainly includes godly mothers. Today, we want to consider the examples of three Biblical magnificent moms! A mother of great courage (Ex. 2) A. Egyptian bondage and the King’s commands B. Jochebed’s courage and wisdom in caring for Moses C. Courage and love will protect little children! A mother of prayer (I Samuel 1) D. Polygamy and its evil effects. E. Hanna’s prayer and God’s reward. F. Samuel --- a man of prayer like his mom. A mother who passed on her faith (II Tim. 1) G. Lois and Eunice, mothers of great faith H. An unbelieving spouse does not necessarily mean failure. I. Timothy --- Paul’s assistant and great evangelist! Moms, we love you and we thank you! Keep up the good work of love, courage, prayer, and teaching. You are making an impact on this world that is hard to over estimate. Let’s show our moms our gratitude and give glory to our God by living for Jesus Christ! |
