God Our Father

I Thessalonians 2:8-12

God has placed the responsibility for dealing with the challenges that come against the family into the hands of fathers. Yet many in our society today have abandoned their God-given role … and we are paying a high price in moral decline. Homosexuality abounds, prisons are full, people are unhappy, and children are neglected. The Bible calls us back to the "old paths" of fatherhood and imitation of God’s example.

God the Father acknowledges the need of fathers (James 1:27).

God the Father is an involved Father (Matt. 6:8).

God the Father loves His adopted children (Rom. 8:15).

God the Father is a reassuring Father (Matt. 10:29)

God the Father is a generous Father (Matt. 7:11).

God the Father is a consistent Father (James 1:17).

God the Father is a firm Father (Heb. 12:6).

God the Father is a giving Father (Jn. 3:16).

God the Father is a faithful Father (Heb. 13:5).

God the Father is a caring Father (Luke 15).

God the Father is a merciful & forgiving Father (Luke 15).

Are you a child of God? Is He your Father? Have you been adopted into His family? You can be today! (Galatians 3:26-27)
