Called To Be Saints Luke 4:14-21 What would you do if you were in charge of the world? Jesus gives His answer in Luke 4 – help the poor, the captives, the blind, and the oppressed. That includes you and me. I. We are called to be saints. (Rom. 1:7) A. We are set apart and made holy. B. It is not a natural occurrence. C. We must do our part and God will do His part. II. There is a message of Good News D. We have hope for a better tomorrow. E. There is a peace that passes all understanding. F. You can be born again and have new life! (Rom. 6:1-4) III. What is it like? G. Are we perfectly sinless? H. Our Master is Jesus! (Rom. 6:12-14) I. His blood cleanses us from all sin! (I Jn. 1:7-9) God’s grace has made it possible for you to be saved, sanctified, and satisfied. You can have this new life today if you will trust and obey. |
